How do I activate facial recognition/fingerprint in the BankID app?

For new app users:

1. As a new user of the BankID app, you will be able to activate BankID with facial recognition, fingerprint or PIN when you activate the app.
2. Follow the instructions in the app to activate faster BankID.
3. If you are not able to activate BankID with facial recognition, fingerprint or PIN when you activate the app, you should check whether this is activated on the phone or tablet you are using. You can see this in the settings of your phone/tablet.

For those who are already using the app:

1. Open the BankID app and press “My BankID” in the menu at the bottom of the page.
2. Follow the instructions in the app to activate BankID with facial recognition, fingerprint or PIN.
3. If you cannot activate BankID with facial recognition, fingerprint or PIN by following the steps above, you should check whether this is activated on the phone or tablet you are using. You can see this in the settings of your phone/tablet.
