I have activated facial recognition/fingerprint, but I am still asked for a password when I log in with BankID?

BankID with biometrics (face recognition/fingerprint) is gradually being rolled out, and will be available in more and more places going forward. While the rollout is ongoing, you will still need to use a password in many cases. The ambition is that you should be able to log in with your face/finger in most cases when the rollout is complete, but you must still use a password in cases that require increased security. This applies, among other things, when you need to check health information, in the case of major transactions and e-signatures, such as for example when buying a house. It is up to each individual user site to choose which level of trust they wish to use and which login method that should be available to users.
