What if I have been scammed?

Contact your bank immediately if you believe that you have been scammed. If your BankID has been abused to take money from your online bank account, your bank is responsible according to Finansavtaleloven.

However, this does not apply if you have demonstrated gross negligence or made contact with your bank as quickly as possible after becoming (or should have become) aware of the danger.

The bank's responsibility is limited to 100 000 NOK. 

If you suspect that someone have your personal password for BankID, change your password immediately at Min BankID.
