Are there any rules for creating the password?

Your password must be at least 6 characters and max 255 characters. If you create a new password, it must be at least 8 characters. It is not case sensitive.
Where do I get BankID?

Each bank is responsible for issuing, informing and providing customer support to its customers with regards to BankID (in the same way as issuing payment cards). Please contact your bank for assistance. You can contact your customer service consultant or order BankID in your online banking if your bank has arranged this.
Why should I get BankID?

With BankID, you get a safe, secure and easy online ID that can be used for, among other things, logging on to online banking. The same BankID can be used across all banks with which you have a customer relationships. BankID, however, is far more than just a login mechanism in online banking. With BankID you can sign documents electronically so that you do not have to go in person or send in mail, such as applications for a kindergarten spot, bid for housing, loan application, registration of documents and more.
Can youngsters order BankID?

The age limit varies between 13 and 15 years. Contact your bank to find their respective limit. If under 18 you will in most cases need help and approval from parents. In certain banks parents can order BankID on behalf of you through the online bank. To receive BankID you need an online bank, bank account and identification with passport.
